Donor support helps CMU students learn how to take science into “the cloud”
As scientific research evolves during the pandemic, Carnegie Mellon students have the opportunity to develop the skills they need to work in remote laboratories.
Through a partnership with Emerald Cloud Lab — founded by Mellon College of Science alumni Brian Frezza and D.J. Kleinbaum — students explored new frontiers in automated science in a special course taught by Professor of Biological Sciences and Chemistry Marcel Bruchez.
Generous support from CMU donors fuels innovative opportunities like this.
