Order of the May

The Order of the May celebrates individuals who impact CMU year after year through an unbroken string of annual gifts. 

Members are invited to an Order of the May celebration each year, at which individuals who achieve 25+ years of consecutive giving are formally inducted as lifetime members of the society. Members also receive special communications and invitations to events.

This giving society’s name was inspired by Albert C. May (E 1921, 1922), who founded the Annual Fund at Carnegie Tech in 1947 and contributed to it every year until his death 51 years later.

You can carry on Al May’s legacy today – make your gift of any size to the area of CMU that means the most to you and make a difference as a member of Order of the May.
