Design Your Buggy

Always admired our Buggy teams but never had a chance to participate? This year, you can make your own unique, sweepstakes-ready Buggy.

Color, decorate, bedazzle or otherwise make your Buggy amazing in this contest for all ages.

Download this Buggy scene designed by Andrea Shockling (A 2001, HNZ 2009), get creative with it, and upload your design.

Semi-finalists are chosen in three categories:

  • Child 17 and younger
  • current CMU student
  • alum/family/friend.

Carnival Minecraft

Sponsored by the Spring Carnival Committee and the CMU Alumni Association

Join us on CMU's official Minecraft server to walk around a virtual campus, get a group together and compete in the Spring Carnival Build Competition, or just attend the ribbon cutting and check out midway! This year's theme is Virtual Carnival, and all CMU students, alumni, staff and faculty are welcome to build. Booth orgs (and your alumni!) are especially welcome.

Note: An @andrew.cmu.edu or @alumni.cmu.edu account is required to login to Minecraft. If you need an @alumni.cmu.edu email, please click here for instructions.

Build-Your-Booth

Each year, student organizations build the most spectacular booths around the Carnival theme. For this year only, booth is open to everyone!

Construct your own booth around the theme “A Virtual Carnival Adventure.” Use your imagination with materials — maybe a shoebox diorama, made of LEGOs or dried macaroni, built entirely in CAD or fashioned out of your couch cushions.

Semi-finalists are chosen in two categories: current CMU students and alum/family/friend.
