Lingren Fellowship for Technology and Society

The David Lingren Fellowship for Technology and Society is open to all incoming Heinz College master's students and offers a chance to work with Block Center staff, affiliated faculty, and internal and external partners on issues related to Responsible AI and the Future of Work. The Lingren Fellow’s work with the Block Center is co-designed to help apply technology-informed solutions to these societal issues.

Recipients of the Lingren Fellowship receive an additional $2,000 per semester tuition scholarship and earn their work study award ($5,000 per academic year) for their research assistantship work with the Block Center.

The application for the Fellowship is released to newly accepted Heinz College students in the spring, and the Fellow is chosen before their fall semester enrollment.
