Parents and families play an important role in our success.
We hope that all parents and family members feel connected to Carnegie Mellon and are active in supporting your student and our campus goals. All parents and family members can stay involved with the university through the following ways:
- Learn about resources and programs available to your student through Undergraduate Family Orientation and the parent and family newsletter.
- Visit for campus events such as Family Weekend and Spring Carnival.
- Attend events in your local area sponsored by the Alumni Association. Parents and family members are always welcome, even if you are not a CMU alumnus.
Parents and families are also invited to engage with Carnegie Mellon University through philanthropy. Your gift makes a significant and direct impact on your student and other students by helping to sustain and enhance the CMU experience, both in and outside the classroom. Donations of any size help to ensure that academic programs, student activities, and initiatives that are meaningful to you and your student continue to thrive. Thank you for considering a gift to Carnegie Mellon!
