MSCF Plans Pittsburgh Campus Relocation to TCS Hall in 2020
The new home will feature dedicated classrooms and meeting spaces, lounge space and staff offices.
The walls are rising on MSCF’s future space in Carnegie Mellon University’s new 90,000-square-foot TCS Hall, funded by a gift from Tata Consultancy Services, a global IT and business solutions company.
The MSCF space in TCS Hall will feature enhanced technology throughout and will bring staff offices, student classrooms and study space together in one place, providing students with a more unified MSCF experience and increased accessibility to MSCF services.
“We listen to student feedback and are constantly exploring ways to enhance the student experience,” said Rick Bryant, Executive Director of the MSCF program. “We were thrilled when the opportunity arose for us to work with the University and implement many of the suggestions we had received over the years. We are very much looking forward to the move in June 2020!”
MSCF students will enjoy ample space for expanded networking opportunities and one-on-one recruiter interviews, close proximity to careers and student services, dedicated lounge and study space and state-of-the-art classrooms.
In addition to the MSCF area, there will also be a “Student Collaboration Porch” and large atrium in the building, so students can collaborate with one another and with students from the School of Computer Science, also a major tenant in the building.
