What unique skills or interests do you bring to the iii?

As an artist turned venture builder, I bring an unconventional perspective to the world of corporate venture capital and 0-1 product strategy. Though I've learned a lot about what it takes to invent, build & launch startups of the future, I'm most interested in the equitability of emerging technology. While at the Integrated Innovation Institute, I hope to explore, experiment and understand how we build AI tools without displacing humans in the process.

Why MIIPS?

I wanted to find the spaces & places that encourage cross-disciplinary approaches to building and designing products (with humans at the center). I believe MIIPS is uniquely positioned to do this while embedded in an environment of frontier technology & AI research.

What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?

Post-master’s, I hope to join an early-stage startup that’s building the next generation of socially driven products in a post-AI world. And while I know MIIPS will be instrumental in helping me get there, I’ve already started to get my feet wet. In fact, this spring, I was the Program lead for a startup accelerator in LA to help underrepresented founders rapidly accelerate their startups at the pre-seed stage. This work was so fascinating (and fulfilling) to me, and exposed me to the emerging tech that will radically shift industries.
