California Private Postsecondary Education Act
The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) came into existence on January 1, 2010, following passage of Assembly Bill 48, known as the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (California Education Code, Title 3, Division 10, Part 59, Chapter 8).
Bureau Mission Statement
The BPPE exists to promote and protect the interests of students and consumers: (i) through the effective and efficient oversight of California's private postsecondary educational institutions, (ii) through the promotion of competition that rewards educational quality and employment outcomes, (iii) through proactively combating unlicensed activity, and (iv) by resolving student complaints in a manner that benefits both the complaining student and future students.
Admitted Students of California-Based Programs
The Integrated Innovation Institute's Master of Science in Software Management (MSSM) program is offered at Carnegie Mellon University's Silicon Valley campus in Mountain View, California.

Learning Outcomes of the MSSM Program
1. Identify and develop opportunities for digital product innovation in support of the needs of individuals, organizations, and society.
2. Formulate and execute a product delivery strategy to deliver high-quality digital products and services.
3. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment in the context of digital product development.
4. Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders through written, spoken and visual communication methods to support product decisions and outcomes.
5. Integrate frameworks, skills, and leadership judgment to navigate ambiguity, shape decisions, and deliver outcomes in complex, real-world digital product contexts, including industry and applied research settings.
