What unique skills or interests do you bring to the iii?

One of the unique strengths I bring to the iii is my ability to translate technical concepts into accessible, actionable ideas for audiences from diverse background. As a data scientist, I’ve worked on both the engineering and education sides of innovation: building models, analyzing data, and also leading training programs to help non-technical stakeholders understand the value of data-driven approaches.

Why MSSM?

Through the MSSM program, I want to deepen my understanding of the end-to-end processes involved in system design and product management. I plan to combine my expertise in data science with the advanced software management principles I will study at CMU to build scalable and efficient software that meets industry's and customer's needs.

What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?

After graduation, I’m looking to step into a role that sits at the intersection of data science and product—such as an Associate Product Manager, Product-Focused Data Scientist or roles in Product Analytics. Ultimately, my goal is to learn more about how to integrate the technical side of data with the full product lifecycle—from identifying user pain points to iterating on solutions and measuring impact.
