This is how to say my name:

What unique skills or interests do you bring to the iii?

I bring a hybrid background in landscape architecture and UX/UI design, combined with professional experience at Ford where I led cross-functional projects across global teams. I’m passionate about inclusive, user-centered design that creates social impact. My ability to balance creativity, business strategy, and technology—along with hands-on skills in tools like After Effects and a strong sense of initiative—positions me to contribute meaningfully to iii’s interdisciplinary and impact-driven culture.

Why MIIPS?

I chose the MIIPS program for its unique integration of design, engineering, and business—a combination that mirrors the interdisciplinary teamwork I experienced in my former professional experience. The industry-assigned capstone projects, leadership-focused coursework, and hands-on internships closely align with my goal of transitioning from design execution to strategic leadership. CMU’s practical, collaborative environment will help me refine my innovation skills and prepare me to lead impactful, cross-functional product teams.

What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?

After graduation, I aim to work as a Senior UX/Product Designer in the tech or healthcare industries, focusing on zero-to-one product development. I hope to lead cross-functional teams that create meaningful, inclusive solutions with real-world impact. Long-term, I aspire to drive design-led innovation initiatives that address societal challenges, by blending design, engineering, and business strategy to deliver scalable, user-centered products.
