MIIPS, 2026

This is how to say my name:

What unique skills or interests do you bring to the iii?

I bring to MIIPS a strong foundation in user-centered design, shaped by my experience working in health tech startups. These fast-paced environments taught me to navigate ambiguity, think strategically, and collaborate across functions to deliver thoughtful, scalable solutions.

I’ve worked on simplifying complex systems and improving user experiences through design that balances user needs with business goals. I’m deeply interested in innovation that creates impact and drives social good, and I look forward to contributing these skills in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams at iii.

Why MIIPS?

I was drawn to MIIPS because it mirrors a real-world setting, combining design, engineering, and business to tackle challenges from diverse perspectives. The emphasis on responsible innovation really speaks to my goal of building human-centered solutions that promote global well-being. Additionally, having access to CMU’s incredible resources, electives across schools, and an inspiring campus environment makes it the ideal place for me to grow creatively, strategically, and personally.

What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?

After graduation, I’m looking to step into roles like Service Designer, UX Strategist, or Product Designer. I want to leverage design as a tool for solving complex problems, integrating emerging technologies like AI, and driving innovation across domains like healthcare, finance, and public services. Long term, I see myself moving toward roles that influence product vision and business strategy, where design has a seat at the decision-making table.
