MIIPS, 2026

This is how to say my name:

What unique skills or interests do you bring to the iii?

I bring a deep curiosity about how people interact with products and systems. My background blends psychology, cross-cultural experience, and mentorship, which helps me approach challenges from multiple perspectives. I thrive in interdisciplinary spaces where creativity, strategy, and innovation come together to create meaningful, inclusive solutions.

Why MIIPS?

I chose the MIIPS program because it perfectly combines my interests in human-centered design, entrepreneurship, and strategy. After launching my own beauty venture and working on social impact initiatives, I wanted a program that would give me the tools to build scalable, thoughtful products. MIIPS stood out for its interdisciplinary approach and real-world application. It felt like the best place to sharpen my creative instincts while developing the business acumen I need to bring meaningful ideas to life.

Education

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University, with a minor in Innovation, Design, and Startups.

Experience

Most recently, I worked as the Coordinator of Mentoring Programs in the Office of BIPOC Student Success at Syracuse University. In this role, I led the Dimensions Mentoring Program, supporting the academic, social, and professional growth of students from underrepresented backgrounds. I also previously served as the Todd B. Rubin Diversity and Innovation Scholar at Syracuse University’s Blackstone LaunchPad, where I supported student founders of color through workshops, business planning, and inclusive entrepreneurship initiatives.

What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?

After graduation, I’m looking for a role that merges my interests in entrepreneurship, mentoring, and cultural innovation. I’m especially passionate about supporting early-stage founders, particularly African and women entrepreneurs, through strategy, mentorship, and access to resources. I hope to work in a space that uplifts beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands from the continent while helping build more inclusive, sustainable ecosystems.
