Bio

• Worked for various Pittsburgh technology companies for more than two decades.  
• Last 5+ years for the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon as a Cyber Simulation Developer for the Department of Defense.  Co-Creator of open source software used by the various branches of the military to practice cyber exercises.
• Adjunct for Carnegie Mellon Information Science program.
• Previous work includes various software/hardware projects such as:
  • 3D Scanning devices for various applications
  • Software development for a variety of medical devices such aa ventilators, surgical devices, and medical testing equipment
  • Prototyping using a variety of hardware platforms
  • Automation for manufacturing and testing of precision devices
• Experience includes software development across the full spectrum from small hardware device programming to cloud computing.
