VLM-based Scene Understanding Research Intern,
Robert Bosch LLC

I traded my secure engineering job in Germany for a high-stakes Vision-Language Model research internship at Bosch in Silicon Valley. My mission was to architect a state-of-the-art simulation pipeline using CARLA to test new VLM technology, but the reality was challenging. I quickly discovered the required robotics tools were outdated and complex. To overcome these hurdles, I spent personal time learning, and used an AI coding assistant to accelerate development. The effort paid off with a successful demo, full-time extensions, and increased team confidence. The summer reinforced that real growth happens outside your comfort zone, where unfamiliar challenges demand resilience.

Product Strategy & Operations Intern,
Theta Health

During my summer at Theta Health, a Bay Area AI healthcare company focused on longevity and healthcare data, I worked on the product launch and pilot readiness of Theta Care, an AI scribe and clinical workflow platform. I collaborated with engineering, design, and physicians to build consent flows and shape compliant workflow experiences for real clinical settings. I also contributed to growth of Theta’s open source MCP ecosystem by engaging the developer community and supporting early adoption. This experience strengthened my commitment to building trustworthy, human centered AI systems that enhance clinician productivity and improve patient care.

Product Manager Intern,
Microsoft

During my internship at Microsoft, I served as a Product Manager Intern, working specifically on the Enterprise M365 Copilot chat product. My main tasks involved refining features, gathering essential user feedback, and aligning cross-functional teams. My coursework gave me a solid foundation in user research and prioritization frameworks, which I expanded greatly during my time there. The biggest challenge was the agility required for AI product management, integrating Large Language Models into enterprise tools. This forced me into constant learning and pivoting. However, that work solidified my long-term goal of pursuing a career in the AI industry, setting a strong foundation for my future.
