Journey to the MIIPS Online Program
When Youliang Weng was working on Intel’s Cloud Platform Engineering Team, he had the option to join Intel’s internal development programs but chose to pursue a different path. The MIIPS Online program intrigued him because it offered flexibility and the ability to learn at his own pace, allowing him to stack certificates and earn credentials on his way to a master’s degree.
Coming from an engineering background, Youliang particularly valued courses in design and business, which helped him broaden his skill set. He was able to tailor his schedule to meet short-term needs and focus on topics most aligned with his role. After completing two certificates, Youliang decided to pursue the MIIPS degree to expand his future career opportunities. He wanted to continue working while learning synchronously and engaging with peers in the program.
