Bio

David VandeLinde devoted a quarter century of leadership to the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. As founding dean, he increased the school's visibility by establishing new departments and the largest part-time engineering program for working professionals in the nation. VandeLinde's success in creating nationally ranked research programs led him to opportunities in the United Kingdom, where he served as vice chancellor of both the University of Bath and the University of Warwick.
