Elegant Edge Catering Launches Fire and Stone at Carnegie Mellon
Elegant Edge Catering has introduced its latest dining concept, Fire and Stone, now available exclusively through Grubhub. Designed to bring a premium dinner experience to campus, Fire and Stone offers students a menu that goes far beyond traditional late-night or quick-serve options.
At the heart of Fire and Stone is a hand-cut, dry-brined ribeye steak, prepared to order and paired with sides that create a true restaurant-style meal. The menu also features signature burgers, crispy wings, grilled chicken, and fresh salmon, giving students a range of hearty, satisfying entrées to choose from.
“Fire and Stone was created to give CMU students access to elevated dinner options right here on campus,” said Judah Cowen, owner of Elegant Edge Catering. “Whether it’s a ribeye steak, a burger, or grilled salmon, our goal is to provide a real meal that feels both special and convenient.”
Fire and Stone operates Sunday through Thursday evenings, making it a convenient choice for students finishing classes, study sessions, or evening activities. Every item is certified kosher and halal, ensuring inclusivity across the campus community — though most customers simply come for the bold flavors and quality food.
With Fire and Stone, Carnegie Mellon adds another innovative concept to its dining program, expanding the variety of high-quality options available to students and faculty.
“We’re proud to partner with Elegant Edge Catering to bring these exciting new dining options to Carnegie Mellon. With the expansion of Fire and Stone, Sweet Plantain, and Manna — alongside student favorites like Tahini, The Edge, and Zebra Lounge — CMU is offering one of the most inclusive and globally-inspired campus dining programs in the country.”
