Bio

Nica Ross is a visual artist, media designer and video producer via Brooklyn, NY. As a visual artist their work bends the expectations of reality using performance, light and play. Nica holds a B.A. in Cinema from San Francisco State University and an M.F.A. in Advanced Photographic Study from The International Center of Photography, Bard College program. Nica has worked in video, theater and event production on both commercial and artistic projects for fourteen plus years. They have worked with 3-Legged Dog Media & Theater Group, The Joshua Light Show and many individual artists. In addition Nica has taught in adjunct and visiting artist capacities at CUNY, Yale and Bard College. Presently they are Assistant Teaching Professor of Video and Media Design in the CMU School of Drama and, alongside Golan Levin, Co-Director of the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry.
