About the conference
Unlocking AI for Public Good brought together leaders from Pennsylvania's state and local governments with faculty and researchers from Carnegie Mellon University to explore how emerging technologies can impact real-world policy challenges.
This one-day convening was designed in hopes of creating long-term collaboration, knowledge sharing, and actionable insights across academic, government, and the civic sector. Together, we'll examine how artificial intelligence an demerging technologies can be leveraged to improve public services, strengthen communities, and drive equitable growth in the Commonwealth.
