Research Talks with Block: Motahhare Eslami, Supporting Participatory AI Auditing of Generative AI Systems

Join us for a lunchtime conversation with Motahhare Eslami, Assistant Professor of Software and Societal Systems, who will share her research on how everyday users can participate in auditing generative AI systems.

This project examines how everyday users can play an active role in auditing generative AI systems for bias and harm. Through the WeAudit platform, the research explores human-AI collaborative approaches to responsible AI auditing, empowering users to help identify, document, and mitigate problematic AI behaviors. By centering participatory auditing, this work advances more transparent, equitable, and accountable generative AI systems.
