Margaret Morrison
Carnegie Hall

Margaret Morrison was named for Andrew Carnegie's mother and originally housed a vocational school for women in 1907. Today, it is home to classrooms, studios and labs for the schools of Architecture, Design, Drama and Music, as well as the Carnegie Mellon Children's School. Scenes from the movies Flashdance and Creepshow were filmed inside Margaret Morrison. Notice the spectacular rotunda which was recently refurbished.
