Biography
LinkedIn Profile
I graduated with a degree in Economics and a minor in Data Science from the University of St. Gallen, focusing on courses such as econometrics, machine learning, and financial mathematics. I further explored these topics in my bachelor’s thesis, where I applied deep learning as a more accurate and efficient method to price and hedge swaptions under the SABR model. I have also gained a wide range of professional experience, from consulting and M&A advisory to working in the Global Credit Trading team at Deutsche Bank. Most recently, I joined the Tactical Asset Allocation department at Munich Re as an intern in Quantitative Investment Strategies. There, I used machine learning to develop a fair-value model for equity markets and built tools for portfolio managers, including one for analyzing correlation structures across different market regimes. I am seeking opportunities in quantitative trading and research where I can leverage my economic intuition to turn market noise into signals, and I would welcome any opportunity to connect.
