Biography
LinkedIn Profile
As a former investment banker, I bring a more personal touch to quantitative finance. I've worked on the issuance of over $1.2 billion in municipal bonds representing over $11 million in fee revenue. In that role I was responsible for both preparing unique bond modeling ideas and presenting those concepts to our clients. Those same clients trusted me to negotiate deal terms on their behalf with third parties. I've independently pitched and won business for the firm, and successfully presented complicated credits to bond investors. I also possess all of the technical prowess you can expect from an MSCF student. In undergrad, I learned to work with big data while working in a photovoltaics lab. I published software packages to CRAN to help the lab's graduate students share their data analysis protocols with international collaborators, becoming a published researcher in the process. Meanwhile in the classroom, I studied mathematical modeling techniques for computational biology. I came to CMU to combine my technical knowledge and love of math with my experience in (and passion for) the financial services industry. I’ve grown to love working on a small, fast-moving team where my performance is measured in dollars. Now, I'm looking to bring my unique combination of skills to a quantitative trading role. I'm excited to get to know you and your business. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
