Biography
LinkedIn Profile
At the Federal Reserve Board, I supported quantitative market briefings read by Governors and researched the markets behind them. Producing work that's both rigorous and timely is what drew me to quantitative finance. I'm pursuing quantitative research at buy-side firms and prop shops, with a focus on macro signal research and systematic strategies. As part of the Global Financial Markets team, I worked on FX forecasting models, built NLP sentiment indicators from earnings transcripts, and co-authored a paper on cryptocurrency price discovery presented at an international workshop in Milan. I studied computer science and economics at UIUC, so my skillset spans both the research and the implementation. Outside of work, I'm at my best when I'm immersing myself in something unfamiliar, whether that's learning a new language, training for a trail run, picking up chess, or just putting myself in a room where I don't know anyone. I'd enjoy connecting over coffee or a call to share more about my work and learn about your team.
