Biography
I am drawn to quantitative finance because it turns uncertainty into decisions. My academic background in Economics and Statistics at the University of Michigan, combined with my training in Carnegie Mellon’s MSCF program, has shaped the way I approach markets: start with data, test assumptions, and communicate conclusions clearly. My career interests center on quantitative research, systematic investment strategies, and risk management. Through internships in asset management, banking, and securities research, I have worked on market analysis, ETF research, liquidity and capital metrics, and client-facing investment materials. These experiences taught me to connect technical analysis with real investment questions, whether evaluating volatility, comparing fund structures, or interpreting macro signals.
What makes my perspective distinct is that I have studied and worked across both China and the United States, giving me a global view of markets and investor behavior. I enjoy breaking down complex problems into practical insights and building the discipline needed to improve every day. I would welcome the opportunity to connect virtually or in person and discuss how my analytical mindset, market curiosity, and cross-border perspective can contribute to your team.
