LinkedIn Profile What fascinates me about financial markets is the way they combine mathematics, technology, and uncertainty into problems that rarely have simple answers. I'm particularly interested in quantitative research and systematic trading because they combine mathematical models with real investment decisions. Over the long term, I hope to build a broad understanding of the quantitative investment process—from developing and evaluating models to analyzing their performance and helping turn research into better investment decisions. As an actuarial graduate from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), I developed a strong quantitative foundation and a way of thinking centered on uncertainty, risk, and decision-making. I later built on that experience at Bloomberg and in Market Risk consulting, where I strengthened my analytical thinking and gained valuable exposure to financial markets and risk management. Working with financial institutions and stock exchanges across Latin America gave me a broader perspective on how different markets approach similar challenges. It also allowed me to communicate and collaborate professionally in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. I'd be happy to connect with classmates, alumni, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and explore the many opportunities within quantitative finance.
