Biography
LinkedIn Profile
I recently graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Statistics and Data Science. My work has focused on building models that improve predictive accuracy and extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets, including improving forecasting performance in pricing problems and uncovering key patterns in educational and operational data. In addition to my quantitative background, I bring extensive experience teaching and communicating technical concepts. Through several years of math tutoring and my role as a Pedagogy Head in UCLA's Learning Assistant Program, I have helped students develop quantitative reasoning skills while learning to explain complex ideas effectively. I am particularly interested in quantitative research and systematic investment strategies, where statistical modeling and machine learning are used to identify patterns, assess risk, and support decision-making in financial markets. I'm available to connect virtually or in person to discuss how my analytical background and problem-solving skills can contribute to a quantitative finance team.
