LinkedIn Profile
As far back as I can remember, I have had a passion for problem solving. While this manifested as an interest in chess, puzzles, and strategy games growing up, in college I found a natural outlet in analytical coursework at Northwestern University. There, I majored in mathematics and economics, exploring concepts like game theory, econometrics, and mathematical models for options pricing, which introduced me to the quantitative subject matter I knew I wanted to pursue professionally. After graduation, I channeled this drive as an Analyst at Cornerstone Research. In my time as an economic consultant, I solved complex problems across cases spanning airline mergers, healthcare monopoly investigations, and derivative valuations. Throughout these projects, my core focus was using R, SQL, and Stata to wrangle messy data, build robust regression models to determine counterfactuals, and present high-stakes insights directly to clients. Now, I am aiming to apply my analytical background to financial markets through a career in quantitative research. My time at Cornerstone taught me that above all else, the real value and challenge of quantitative work comes from distilling complex results into clear, impactful narratives. This experience gives me a practical perspective that combines the technical rigor of economic consulting with strong communication skills, which I look forward to bringing to my future role. I welcome the opportunity to connect, virtually or in person, to discuss how my experience and skillset can add value to your team.
