Biography
Abbe Depretis is an Associate Teaching Professor of Business Management Communication at the Tepper School of Business, where she teaches Presentations for Computational Finance to MSCF students, along with courses in business and management presentations and communicating inclusive excellence in the workplace. Her research focuses on rhetoric and social change, business communication, and inclusion in the workplace, and she has been recognized with the Eastern Communication Association's Distinguished Teaching Fellowship (2026). Depretis holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, an MBA from Temple University's Fox School of Business, and an M.A. in Communication Studies also from the University of Maryland..
