Academic & Student Services Advisor
As Academic & Student Services Advisor, Leia supports the Institute's Technology Ventures and Software Management students at Carnegie Mellon's Silicon Valley campus. She serves as a resource for students who have questions about transitioning to Silicon Valley, course registration, iii clubs and organizations, orientation, and graduation. Her favorite part of being an advisor is being able to help students successfully achieve their personal and professional goals. Previous to CMU, Leia has held various roles related to international student advising and student affairs.
Born and raised in San Jose, CA, Leia is an avid traveler and finds every opportunity she can to explore new places, both around the Bay Area and across the globe. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, thrift shopping, and visiting art galleries and museums. She is a huge cat person and loves to hang out with her black cat Mochi.
