› CMU / MSE Professor Michael McHenry receives DOE grant

CMU / MSE Professor Michael McHenry is leading the team developing new materials and processes for electric power grid transformers to improve the efficiency of grid-scale solid-state power conversion. This research will improve the integration of renewable energy onto the grid, and is funded by a 3-year $1.7M US Department of Energy grant.
