ASCE New Faculty Excellence Award Recognizes Wang's Teaching Achievements

His pedagogical expertise is evident in courses like Computation and Data Science for Civil and Environmental Engineering, a required undergraduate core course, and Research Skills and Topics in Civil and Environmental Engineering, an elective undergraduate course. Additionally, he imparts knowledge and fosters the academic pursuits of graduate students through the course Molecular Simulation of Materials.

A standout feature of Wang's teaching approach is his ability to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment, resulting in consistently high faculty course evaluation scores for both course content and instructor assessments. Even amid challenges, such as the abrupt shift to online education during the pandemic, Wang exemplifies his adaptability and unwavering dedication to his students' academic growth.
