Li Awarded Bushnell Fellowship

PhD candidate Yuanhao Li has been awarded the Neil and Jo Bushnell Fellowship in Engineering. Li earned his undergraduate degrees Civil Engineering from Auburn University and his Master’s degree in Computational Mechanics from Carnegie Mellon University.

Advised by Professor Jerry Wang, Li's research focuses on understanding nanoscale fluid flow and heat transfer physics, uncertainty quantification in molecular simulations, using tools from statistical physics and machine learning.

“I am very honored to receive the Neil and Jo Bushnell Fellowship in Engineering,” says Li. “I would like to acknowledge the generosity of Neil and Jo Bushnell, the support of my advisor. I wish to have more exciting adventures in my PhD research”

This fellowship was created through the generosity of Neil and Jo Bushnell and was established to provide merit fellowships to graduate students pursuing doctoral degrees in nanotechnology or electronic materials in the College of Engineering.
