Notes: Electives
One elective must be in the basic sciences, from the following list:
03-121 |
Modern Biology |
9 |
12-201 |
Geology |
9 |
12-3XX |
Special Topics: Environmental Biology and Ecology |
9 |
Substitutions may be made only with the approval of the Department Head
- One elective course is restricted to a 600-level or 700-level Civil Engineering course of at least 9 units, except 12-648 and 12-690. This Civil Engineering elective is a co-requisite for 12-401. The combination of 12-606 and 12-645 may also be used, but no other combination is allowed.
- Students are encouraged to take multiple 12-6xx/7xx courses to provide them with specific civil and environmental engineering domain depth in their field(s) of interest.
