  Gesling Stadium

Gesling Stadium is a center of athletic activities at Carnegie Mellon. Opened in 1990, Gesling Stadium is the home of Carnegie Mellon's varsity football, soccer, and track and field teams as well as many intramural sports programs.

Spectators congregate here for good times, whether it's cheering on the home team or keeping time with the Kiltie Marching Band.

Surrounding the omni-turf playing surface is an eight-lane track, beyond which lies the intramural field. These playing spaces attract students involved in dozens of intramural and club sports.

Overlooking the stadium and track from the University Center is an exercise room complete with weight machines, treadmills and stair climbers. Additional fitness facilities include the University Center's racquetball courts, Wiegand Gymnasium and swimming pool, the Skibo Gymnasium and the campus tennis courts.

Whether they're competing on the varsity football team, taking an aerobics class or jogging laps to stay in shape, Carnegie Mellon students have many fitness opportunities and facilities.
