Pittsburgh Connections

Pittsburgh Connections engages students in outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship, and cultural awareness throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania, with the goals to help students develop and maintain a physically active lifestyle, build leadership skills, and increase their appreciation of the region.

Throughout the academic year, Pittsburgh Connections sponsors outdoor and cultural adventures to one of the many outdoor recreation facilities in the Pittsburgh area. Past adventure trips include whitewater rafting, kayaking, biking, hiking, paintball, horseback riding, and skiing! Cultural trips include museums, botanical gardens, haunted houses, farms, tours, and more!

Tickets are available starting two mondays before each program, and can be found through TartanConnect or CMU Tickets.

Pittsburgh Connections is coordinated through the Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Civic Engagement (SLICE). For questions about the program, email us here.
