LeaderShape

The LeaderShape Institute is a 4-day immersive leadership retreat. This program is designed to produce a breakthrough in the leadership capacity of participants and facilitators which is demonstrated on their campus, in their community, or within their organization. Not a typical leadership retreat, the Institute is grounded in helping individuals identify the values they hold that lead to making a difference in the communities around them.

CMU's LeaderShape Institute is open to all CMU undergraduate students—regardless of college or major—who will be in a leadership position during the following academic year. Leadership positions include any position, whether paid or volunteer, where a student helps lead, guide, mentor, or support other students. Examples include, but are not limited to: sports captains, student organization leadership, orientation counselors, resident assistants, tutors, mentors, members of student government, fraternity or sorority leadership, and much more.

This year’s LeaderShape retreat will be held May 7-10, 2024. Interested in being a part of the inaugural event?  Email SLICE.
