Donahue named one of Web of Science’s Highly Cited Researchers

EPP Professor Neil Donahue, and director of Carnegie Mellon University’s Steinbrenner Institute for Environmental Education and Research, has been named one of Web of Science’s Highly Cited Researchers in the field of Geosciences in the 2020 rankings. Donahue’s research primarily centers on the chemistry of the atmosphere, specifically how organic molecules behave and change in it.

The Web of Science's annual list identifies leading researchers who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field through the publication of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in the Web of Science.

Donahue, an internationally recognized expert in atmospheric chemistry and air-quality engineering, was also named a Highly Cited Researcher in 2017 for his work in the field of geosciences.
