Abby Pittinaro

Senior Associate Director, Development, College of Fine Arts

Bio

Pittinaro joined CMU in 2025. A lifelong Pittsburgher, she is a passionate fundraiser and advocate for the arts, humanities and higher education. She spent seven years at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh and served in roles including Director of Development and Director of Strategic Initiatives. Before joining CFA, she served as the Director of Major Gifts and Campaign at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Abby has been an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Communications at Waynesburg University, her alma mater (BA'15, MBA'17), since 2019.
