ABSTRACT:

This policy addresses compliance with respect to conflicts of interest related to research activities.

Statement

The university recognizes that financial conflicts of interest may exist in a research environment. The university requires the design, conduct, and reporting of research that is free from bias resulting from investigator financial conflict of interest. The university has processes in place to facilitate compliance with all applicable laws related to financial conflict of interest in research. The university provides guidelines, approved by the university president, to the university community, to enable the university, and university investigators, to meet their obligations under these laws.
