Saptarshi graduated from BITS Pilani, India in 2021 with a Bachelors in Computer Science and Masters in Economics. Post his graduation, he worked at JP Morgan for three years as an Interest Rates Quant primarily dealing with building interest rate curves and handling the requirements of LIBOR cessation. His work was greatly appreciated leading to his promotion as an Associate. During his undergraduate years, Saptarshi developed a keen interest in building investment strategies which he nurtured by interning at hedge funds such as Trexquant and pursuing research projects with college professors. He has joined the MSCF program post his industry stint to further his academic understanding of the financial markets and deepen his knowledge of machine learning’s applications in finance. Post graduation, Saptarshi plans to pursue a career in quantitative research and build investment strategies.
