Sales & Trading

Trading is a high-stress job that requires knowledge, discipline and determination. As a market maker, your goal is to profit on the bid-ask spread, taking positions only as inventory as you execute trades on behalf of their bank’s clients (a “flow” trader). As a “proprietary” trader, your role will be more speculative, taking positions with the firm’s capital in anticipation of a rise or fall in price which may be unwound in microseconds or months.
