Moishe Keselman graduated from the University of Washington in June 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math. Concurrently to studying, he worked as a full time software development engineer at the Amazon in their translation services organization. Through Amazon and prior experiences, Moishe gained experience with time series, NLP, and computer vision machine learning. At Amazon, he worked on several services that employed natural language processing (NLP) techniques to identify issues in strings on the retail website. Before that, we interned at an ultrasound company, where he used a lightweight time series deep learning models to identify heartbeats in videos. Prior to that, he assisted in research at a research lab at the University of Washington. There, he designed and trained transformers to model the relationship between brain wave data and body part movement. Moishe is currently looking for a quantitative research position at a hedge fund or proprietary trading firm.
