Junyi Wang graduated from Fudan University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics. Prior to joining the MSCF program, she completed several internships as a quantitative researcher and a quantitative trader at various hedge funds, dealing with topics such as portfolio optimization and alpha factor discovery. During her most recent internship at Guotai Junan, she focused on developing investment strategies for over-the-counter derivatives. These experiences ignited her passion for applying quantitative methodologies to real-world financial scenarios. Junyi joined the MSCF program to further deepen her quantitative skills and broaden her understanding of the quantitative finance industry. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue a career in quantitative research, quantitative trading, or asset management.
