Bopei (Kelly) Nie graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2024 with Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance. During her undergraduate study, she immersed in two enriching semester exchange programs in the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Hong Kong during, and receiving National Prize (top 1%) at Xi'an Jiaotong University. Prior to joining the MSCF program, she engaged in several quantitative research internships where she developed solid statistical modelling and programming skills. During her internship at XY Investment, she built up a high-precision bond yield curve model and uncovered pivotal contagion patterns of credit default risk of Municipal Bonds across multiple administrative levels. Bopei joined the MSCF Program to further leverage her interest in both quantitative problem-solving and the global financial markets. Upon graduation, she intends to pursue a career in quantitative research/portfolio management.
