Leo loves challenges and enjoys dissecting problems into manageable sub-tasks for effective solutions. During one project, he analyzed an unlisted company with limited data, skillfully identifying publicly traded comparables, applying linear regression, and creating revenue models for insightful conclusions. While Leo's passion lies in the global financial industry, he has expertise in commodity markets. His prior experience involved quantitative research and fundamental analysis, primarily focusing on precious metals. His fascination with supply and demand dynamics led to the publications of his research on photovoltaic. Passionate about learning new things and focusing on details help him to successfully solve real-world problems. He led a team in publishing a paper in a journal about the impact of Russia's export commodities on the stock market during the Russia-Ukraine War, providing valuable insights for investors during times of conflict. He graduated from New York University in 2023, majoring in Economics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Upon graduation from CMU, he will pursue a career in quantitative trading and research.
