Bio

Xizhuo (Aurora) Wang graduated from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in quantitative finance. During her undergraduate, Aurora interned as a quantitative researcher at Charlton, an option-trading asset management firm. At Charlton, Aurora conducted quantitative analysis and model fitting on option prices and volatility, based on which she developed trading strategies to generate profit. After that, Aurora worked as a summer intern in the fixed-income trading group at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) where she expanded her knowledge in various asset classes. Later, Aurora worked as a quantitative research intern for the CICC asset management team, where she studied the financial market using time series models. Besides her working experience, Aurora also conducted research projects with deep learning models to analyze the stock market. Aurora joined MSCF to deepen her knowledge and expertise in quantitative research methodologies and advanced machine learning algorithms. Aurora is actively seeking internship and full-time opportunities and intends to pursue a career in quantitative research.
