Bio

Vineeth Gopu graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a major in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Physics. He has three years of work experience at a premier life insurance company in multiple different roles including hedge risk management and downstream modelling. During his stint with Hedge Risk Management, he assisted in recalibrating interest rate parameters in the GMxB annuity hedging program model by analyzing stochastic scenario Greek sensitivities. Additionally, he has pursued an Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation which familiarized him with probabilistic theory and its applications to finance while also stressing communication and professional competence. Vineeth has enrolled in the MSCF program in order to jumpstart his career as a quantitative trader, strategist, or researcher.
