Bio

Luoyuan (Tony) Hu graduated from the Central University of Finance and Economics in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering. His passion for math, programming and finance drove him excelled his undergraduate studies by securing the 1st rank in his cohort and joining China Asset Management Academy (CAMA), where he received intensive PhD-level academic training and conducted empirical asset pricing research for two years. Tony's strong foundation in quantitative research, coupled with his interdisciplinary academic training, equips him with transferrable and in-depth skills suitable for hedge funds, investment banks, and asset management, in all of which he worked a quant strat. Beyond the financial realm, he has extended his quantitative and analytical capabilities to the gaming arena. He has achieved remarkable success, amassing over 2000 trophies on PlayStation and attaining a top 500 ranking in Dota 2. Tony's decision to join the MSCF program stems from his aspiration to elevate his already adept quantitative skills to an extraordinary level and he targets at a career path as quantitative strategist.
