Xilin Aaron Chen

Bio

Xilin (Aaron) Chen graduated from New York University Shanghai in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Data Science and a Minor in Mathematics (summa cum laude). Prior to joining MSCF Program, he worked as a research intern at J.P. Morgan and a mixed-strategy private equity fund to explore the financial industry with a solid foundation in quantitative and fundamental analysis. He was also a student research assistant at Volatility Institute (VINS) at NYU Shanghai and spent a year on a research project about anomalies in the stock index futures market in China during his Senior year. Xilin joined the MSCF program to further develop his expertise in financial computing and machine learning. After graduation, Xilin hopes to pursue a career in quantitative research, portfolio management, or quantitative trading.
